Our History
Family Owned and Operated For Over 30 Years
- 1987 – Gateway Transport, Inc. is incorporated as a United States corporation in the state of California.
- 1993 – Gateway Transport received its United States Interstate Commerce Commission license allowing them to work with shippers and transportation companies arranging freight shipments in the United States.
- 2003 – 10 years in business achieved- working with hundreds of Southern California businesses.
- 2009 – Awarded a sales agent office for 1st Priority Services / RRD DLS Worldwide selling their freight logistics offerings. Service area now expanded to all of the United States and Canada, as well as some international.
- 2013 – 20 years in business achieved. Expansion of services now working with small to midsize and two large Fortune 150 companies.
- 2014 – Expansion of outside sales representation. Online services for rates, scheduling of shipments, tracing and reports are now available via computer, phone and tablet.
- 2015 – Upgrade of www.gatewaytransport.com website completed.
- 2018 – 25 years in business achieved.
- 2020 – Successfully navigated through the challenges posed during COVID-19 by implementing strategic measures, adapting to changing circumstances and preserving our commitment to excellence.
- 2021 – Began representing TForce International after their purchase of RRD DLS Worldwide – 12 years agency.
- 2023 – 30 years in business achieved.
